Service Description

This three day camp will be a great way for you kid to learn new skills and explore building during spring break. Camp will run March 24th,25th and 27th from 1pm-5pm each day Each day will be a combination of instruction and child led learning where kids can try things that interest them and work at their pace. We will be doing some community builds at the beginning of each day where we work together as a group to make some animal habitats. These will be donated to local nature centers where the wildlife will benefit. Kids will also get to learn about the animals we are making homes for like Bats, wood ducks and more. Durning the second half of each day kids will have unstructured free time to build and create whatever wild thing they have in their imagination. As always there will be a 1 adult to 5 students ratio and we will all learn about each tool we will use and how to use it safely. When filing out the booking form please indicate child’s age and any food allergies as we provide snacks for the group. If you need any assistance to help pay for the class fee please just email me at tinybitofwood@gmail.com and we will help get it covered and you kids building in the shop!

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds or move students to a different class time for scheduling conflicts . The number of people asking to move their reservations is simply too high that the school can not afford to accommodate this and still keep class fees affordable. We do occasionally have a waitlist for classes, if someone is able to take your place you can be refunded or moved to a different class. Feel free to ask but again this is not guaranteed. Alternatively if you can not make it to your scheduled class you can always find someone you know to take your place. If you would like to cancel your reservation, please email tinybitofwood@gmail.com with the subject line “Cancellation”. Thank you for understanding, Megan Shannon
