We will use a bandsaw to rough cut out the stock and do the final shaping with all hand tools We will be using a pre industrial tool called a shave horse during this all day class, this tool is so calming to use you will be happy this is a longer class. This project will be held together with wood wedges giving this piece of furniture visual appeal while you gain a traditional skill. This all day class will begin at 11am and end at 5pm, we will break for lunch from 1-2pm. Students are more than welcome to stay and eat lunch at the shop or pop over to LBC or the shuffle. All classes here a designed for beginners and everyone is welcome in this shop. I will be there to help with any step that a student might not feel comfortable completing. Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds or move students to a different class time for scheduling conflicts . The number of people asking to move their reservations is simply too high that the school can not afford to accommodate this and still keep class fees affordable. We do occasionally have a waitlist for classes, if someone is able to take your place you can be refunded or moved to a different class. Feel free to ask but again this is not guaranteed. Alternatively if you can not make it to your scheduled class you can always find someone you know to take your place. If you would like to cancel your reservation, please email tinybitofwood@gmail.com with the subject line “Cancellation”. Thank you for understanding, Megan Shannon
