Service Description

This is a jam-packed weekend where we will learn all the fundamentals of woodworking to give you a great start on your journey learning this trade. This is a great option for those who want to learn it all. This is a longer course giving students more time in the shop to practice all the things we will learn and get a little more experience with all the tools. All the classes we will cover in this course. Handtool 101, Powertool 101, Understanding lumber. Intro to joinery, Mortis and tenon, and Dovetail, and anything else we have time for! Class will begin both days at 10am and end at 5pm, we will break for lunch from 1-2pm. Students are more then welcome to stay and eat lunch at the shop or pop over to LBC or the shuffle.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds or move students to a different class time for scheduling conflicts . The number of people asking to move their reservations is simply too high that the school can not afford to accommodate this and still keep class fees affordable. We do occasionally have a waitlist for classes, if someone is able to take your place you can be refunded or moved to a different class. Feel free to ask but again this is not guaranteed. Alternatively if you can not make it to your scheduled class you can always find someone you know to take your place. If you would like to cancel your reservation, please email tinybitofwood@gmail.com with the subject line “Cancellation”. Thank you for understanding, Megan Shannon
